My name is Paula Beekhuizen, born in 1961 and raised in The Hague. For several years I have been living in Stompwijk, a small village located in the entrance area of the beautiful Groene Hart.

To this day I am fascinated by the human body and the interaction between illness and health, but also by our human mind and behavior. I am always looking for ways to better understand these complex aspects of existence.

In the past I have gained knowledge and experience in various regional hospitals and also conducted a massage practice in amateur sports for a number of years. From my profession as a social worker / trainer, I have immersed myself in the social domain in the recovery power of people and committed myself to it. At every moment in our lives we are meaningful to ourselves and to others.

What comes first for me in a massage is to create a pleasant environment, in which the client can relax physically and mentally in a pleasant way, but can also use his or her own strength. Massage can help create a positive sense of support and comfort during a difficult time.
